NAYAN THARA

Nayanthara
She has got the looks the body the attractiveness and almost all other paraphernalia that takes to be an ideal Indian movie goddess. And even in this early stage of her career, she is one of the most wanted and most successful actresses in south India and apparently is way ahead of her counterparts in whatever aspects you may name about it. Yes we are talking about Nayanthara, probably with the same amount of passion and same number of heart beats you have conducted this search and ended up on this page. Given below is her biography in a nut shell, read on.

Diana Mariam Kurien A.K.A Nayanthara is a native of Kerala and her mother tongue is Malayalam. She was born on November 18, 1984.She loved acting and modeling ever since she was a little girl and she always wanted to be an actress.
She first entered into Malayalam movies and later extended her reign to other languages like Tamil and Telungu. As a newbie she was lucky enough to be introduced by one of the finest directors Malayalam movie has ever witnessed- Sathyan Anthikad. Nayanthara’s first movie was in Malayalam and it was named ‘Manasinakkaree”. This one was a family hit allover Kerala and she made a very impressive debut performance in this movie. Many then considered her as a rising young star in the horizon of Malayalam movie and little did they know that they’re just underestimating her.

She is a B.A graduate and got this first movie opportunity while she was doing C.A. She is the kind of person who is very confident on herself and she always gives everything she can offer as an actress and she really enjoys her work. A year after her debut, she signed two more movies in Malayalam- ‘Vismayathumbathu’ and ‘Natturajavu’ with superstar Mohanlal. Both of these movies were decent hits and with them her star value skyrocketed.
After her success in her own language she migrated to Tamil movies and later to Telugu. The reason for this migration is said to be her quest for more success and that is exactly what she found in there. First she signed ‘Chandramukhi’ opposite to Superstar Rajnikanth. This of course brought her more movies and she eventually signed movies like ‘Ghajini’ with Surya and ‘Sivakasi’ with Vijay. Later in 2006 she had a Telugu hit with Venkatesh named ‘Lakshmi’.The credit of two of the recent big Telugu hits ‘Boss’ and ‘Lakshmi’ goes to her and she is a superstar in Telugu already.

In Tamil also she had hits like ‘Ghajini’ and ‘Vallavan’. With her gorgeous beauty and talent she has placed herself in the horizon of the south Indian movie industry as a shining star and most importantly in the hearts of millions of young south Indian blokes. She is one of the busiest runners in the industry now and in coming years; you’ll see her in some really big movies..
This is a Nayanthara fansite and has no conection with Nayanthara, her family or management.
Nayantara is very generous person, who has contributed to several causes. While working with Rajini, who is known for giving away gifts such as chains to people on the sets to celebrate a movie's success or to reward his coworkers, she became intrigued by his kind gestures. Inspired by this, she also started to reward her co-workers in her other movies by giving away gifts such as bicycles. She is a down to earth and a darling among technicians for the exemplary camaraderie she exhibits with them. During shoots Nayan always stays at the floor, unlike other stars, who shut themselves up in the vanity vans. She contributed INR 5,00,000 (5 lakhs) to TN Chief Minister as relief aid for displaced Sri Lankan Tamils, at a celebrity fast arranged in solidarity with the Tamils of Sri Lanka. Her donation was the heftiest sum given by an actress, this despite the fact that Nayanthara is not a Tamil herself.
Nayantara created headlines when publicity posters of her movie Vallavan sprung up around Chennai showing her Vallavan co-star, Silambarasan and her kissing, who she was rumoured as involved with at the time. However, the pair broke up citing differences soon after the film was released. Further controversy was created when rumours leaked out that the plot of Silambarasan's forthcoming film, Kettavan, was based on the couple's true love story.
Nayan is on a break, wanted to spend her birthday with her little niece whom she dotes on. The lass says that her brother is planning to host a small birthday party for her at the newly opened super luxury resort — Atlantis Hotel on the Palm Jumeirah, a man-made island known as the eighth wonder of the world! During the last five years, she has celebrated her birthday on the sets of her films. Now, she feels that it is a welcome break that will rejuvenate her and pep up her spirits. Ask her if she’s moving away from glam roles, and she replies, “Why should I? My fans have accepted me in such roles. And it’s not easy to be convincing as a glam girl in films as a lot of hard work goes into it.” The actress, who has watched Fashion and Dostana recently, says that she loved Priyanka Chopra in them. Adds Nayan, “Both the films were hip, trendy and youth-oriented. I will be back and am waiting to catch up with Vaaranam Aayiram.” On her birthday gift, she says with a smile, “My family always loves to surprise me at the last minute.”
